Preparation is key to a successful hunt.

Alberta’s weather can be unpredictable. Temperatures may range from cool mornings to warmer afternoons, with potential for rain or snow, depending on the season. The terrain varies from dense forests to open fields and rugged landscapes. We advise packing layered clothing and sturdy, waterproof footwear.

We prioritize a personalized experience. Typically, our camps accommodate small groups, consisting of 4-6 hunters at a time, ensuring each hunter receives individual attention. If you prefer a private camp for your group, please discuss this with us during the booking process.

Cell phone reception can be limited or nonexistent in certain hunting locations. We utilize satellite communication devices to ensure safety and maintain contact with our base camp.

Ethical hunting practices are paramount. If an animal is wounded, our guides will make every effort to track and recover it. However, a wounded animal is considered a harvested animal. We cannot over-emphasize the importance of shot placement and recommend practicing to ensure proficiency with your weapons.

Our accommodations are designed for comfort after a day in the field. Amenities include comfortable sleeping quarters, dining areas, and common spaces to relax and share stories. Specific details about lodging can be found on the page of the animal you are interested in.
